Volunteering in the Community

Without the dedicated work of volunteers in every area of service,
The Salvation Army could not accomplish its mission.

	Become a volunteer in one of our programs. People from all over Oakville volunteer with The Salvation Army Community church. High school students may volunteer here to fulfill the Ontario High School requirements.
	Volunteer at the Halton Lighthouse Emergency shelter For more information about opportunities at the Lighthouse call: 905-339-2918 x. 25
	Work on the Christmas Kettle (from the end of November) Kettles are placed in malls and public places in Oakville. Shifts are available at different times of the day.
	Organize an event to raise money for one of our programs.
