The Salvation Army Halton Lighthouse exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in Halton and the surrounding area.
The Lighthouse attempts to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs to residents through a holistic approach to case management. The staff will follow Christian principles and help residents be a transforming influence in their own lives. The underlining ministry principle will be to treat all persons with respect, dignity, compassion and grace.
The Salvation Army Halton Lighthouse provides emergency shelter, basic needs and intensive case management for men, and women who are homeless. The Lighthouse Shelter provides accommodation for 30 men and women who are experiencing homelessness and partners with the Canadian Mental Health SafePlace program for persons who have mental health crisis needs.
